So im trying really hard to get a good devotion in with God. But some days im coming up short on what to pray about. I tell him my heart feel so heavy like I have so much to pray about but nothing comes to mind. Then I realized I should ask my family and my Nova’s people what they need prayer for? So what do you need prayer for? I would love to be praying for you if you don’t mind sharing and you would also be helping me grow in my pray life and my devotions with the Lord.

KC, you are just Beautiful!! I adore your heart to grow in the Lord and always I will love to do anything I can to help – especially with this request since I’ll take all the prayer I can get! ;P So main thing I need prayer for: trusting God to take control of my mouth leading up to and during the two upcoming times I’m supposed to be the speaker (my old youth group tonight and my g-ma’s church this Sunday). I don’t want to try to be in control anymore as I speak, but really let Him do the talking. Also for peace – God’s been breaking me of this fear of public speaking all summer with other speaking “events,” but I’m still terrified out of my skin every time!! Thank you so much for your selfless desire to pray for others and likewise I’d love to lift you up in prayer to our Lord in any way I can…any specifics you need prayer for?

no way..i have been thinking the same exact thing!!!! 4 me i would love some prayer that i can raise the money in time, i have decided not to just use my own money, and trust God to provide, also, i would love prayer 4 my relationship with friends and family..its kinda getting stressful now. how about you?
Hey KC–what perfect timing, please pray for me and my mom. I have moved home until training in hopes to strengthen communication and repair relationships however things are pretty rough and we need God’s intervention of understanding, humility and love. Pray that we are able to be selfless and willing to listen. I am discouraged and stressed- thanks-jenessa lynn

Hey! Thanks so much for asking. Two things:
I’m speaking at chapel at my old school tomorrow. I kinda know what I’m going to say, but it’s not gelling like I would have liked it. So, that God would guide me in the rest of my preparation and give me the words to say.
Second, I’m speaking to my grandparents sunday school class in Dallas on Sunday, asking for support. So, that God would bless that time and place it on certain people’s hearts to support me financially and hopefully get me to the goal!

1. My dad was just consulted for a case the other day about this kid a couple hours away from us and he had to call me to read the fast report that came in his e-mail. A couple of days ago, a lady reported a drifter and a child he has with him that he refers to as “dog”. Best case the child is just horribly abused. Worst case, he was illegally adopted or kidnapped and actually has no sense of personal identity or home or parents and has been horribly abused. The child is suspected to be linked to a case a few years back involving a couple that sold him for drugs. He is too young to remember who he was even if his life before was pleasant. He has not been allowed to talk to others or enrolled in school. I can’t imagine what it would be like to feel like nothing and not know any different, but I’m sure he does.
2.Now that this pales completely in comparison. My transition away from my wonderful family to a new wonderful family and their transitions as well. Thanks.

I dont have any specific prayer requests right now, but if everyone could just pray for my family (my parents especially) they are going through some really hard times and im leaving for Mexico/Nicaragua at a inopportune time for them 🙁 But its what im supposed to do and God will be there for them. But if everyone could just pray for us.
