IGNITION TRAINING: August 6 to August 11, 2009
This training is mandatory for everyone. Some of you already have permission to miss this training, and simply need to confirm this with Vicki Gross ([email protected]).
TRAVEL INFORMATION
Training will take place in Gainesville, Georgia. Gainesville is approximately 1.5 hours north of Atlanta.
Arrival – August 6, 2009
Flying into Atlanta airport (ATL)
Ignition Training – ARRIVE before 4:00 PM. AIM Staff will meet you at the Atlanta Bread Company in the Atrium of the Atlanta airport. Follow signs or ask airport employees to direct you to the Atrium and we will be the big group with oversized backpacks in front of ABC. We’ll also have on AIM t-shirts.
Once you are there, you will be given your first assignment.
Remember, Atlanta is the busiest airport in the US, therefore plan ahead for unexpected delays and allow ample time between gate arrival, baggage claim and transportation pickup. You can expect it to take one hour from the time your plane arrives to the time you are ready to leave. Therefore, be sure your flight arrives BEFORE 4:00 PM.
We realize that flight schedules are not always ideal. Plan on arriving earlier rather than later.
If you fly on American Airlines know that you will arrive in a separate terminal and will need to make your way across the terminal to the Atrium. Though that’s not much trouble, just know you will be separate from where everyone else arrives. Again, simply ask for directions to the Atrium.
Driving to Gainesville, GA
