I expect to be sent, not as part of a group of strangers, but with a family of like-minded peers, all eager and expectant of God to work through us.  It will be difficult, but God will give us strength to live among and be a blessing to those we have been called to serve and to each other as well.  Each will return home different than when having left, and I expect to develop a clearer vision of where God has called me to serve. I expect to be humbled and to be stretched, but I know there will be a body of believers to which to turn when the inevitable homesickness comes.  I expect to be able to have real, deep discussions with both teammates and with those that we are witnessing to, although the latter will probably have to be through an interpretor.  I do expect an opportunity to stumble across mis palabras however, getting to know the people there best by trying to learn their language.  Especially having seen the daily schedule, and having the absolutely essential quiet time built into it, I expect a leadership team that will help us to grow in the Lord, challenge us, and prepare us to go out again with less of a safety net.  I look forward to seeing God glorified through this team that he is building and I know that, as a group, together we will turn to Him first to reveal His sovereign plans.
